What We Do
The 中国365bet中文官网 Committee on Education (SOCED) ensures that the聽American Chemical 中国365bet中文官网's educational activities聽focus on the committee鈥檚 vision of聽advancing chemistry education for all聽and on ACS Goal 3 to Support Excellence in Education.聽
The committee fulfills its mission of聽developing and promoting policies, resources, and programs that advance chemistry education for all聽via three goals:
- Foster a culture of innovation and integrity in chemistry teaching, learning, assessment, and mentored research
- Advance inclusive excellence for all learners and educators
- Support and recognize chemistry educators and mentors
Who We Are
SOCED reports to both the Council and the Board of Directors. SOCED members may serve up to six years. The SOCED Chair may serve no more than three years in this capacity.
SOCED has three subcommittees:
- Supporting Excellence in Education
- Student Communities
- Science Education Policy 聽
Several subgroups and advisory boards also support the work of SOCED.
