About the Strategic Planning Process
The ACS Strategic Plan follows a five-year review cycle with opportunities for the ACS Strategic Planning Committee to review and update the plan as needed. 2024 marked the end of the last five-year cycle and, as a result, the Committee spent 2024 in careful review before putting forward a new Strategic Plan to the ACS Board of Directors in December. Rolled out on January 1, 2025, the ACS Strategic Plan 2025-2029 builds on the previous plan and provides a roadmap to the future for the organization. It reflects our priorities through our vision, mission, core values, and strategic goals while recognizing our commitment to improve all lives through the transforming power of chemistry.聽
