Holly Hajare, Ph.D.
Biography
Holly earned her Ph.D. in chemistry at Stanford University. Through her dissertation research at the听interface of organic chemistry and neurobiology, Holly developed molecular tools to study the role of听sodium channels in diseases like chronic pain.
She was awarded a National Defense Science and听Engineering Graduate Fellowship to support her research efforts. Holly holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in听chemistry from Yale University.
Dedicated to improving equity in STEM education, Holly has extensive听experience in scientific outreach. As a coordinator for Stanford University鈥檚 Chemistry Outreach听Program, Holly led high school classroom visits to engage students in hands-on experiments. She founded a preK鈥�5 branch of the Outreach Program, hosting events like Science Sundays to foster听scientific curiosity in young students.
Holly grew up in Massachusetts and enjoys baking and painting in听her free time.
