Scheduled for Thursday, July 15, from 2 â€� 3 p.m. EDT, the free ACS Webinarâ„� will feature David Porter of Apposite Capital, a chemist and one of ±á±ð²¹±ô³Ù³ó±õ²Ô±¹±ð²õ³Ù´Ç°ù’s 50 most influential people of 2009. Porter will speak on VC Talk: How to Sell Your Science & Get Investors.

A member of the United Kingdom Department of Health's provider reform group, he combines sector knowledge with practical hands-on experience. Before joining Apposite, Porter founded Nomura International's healthcare investment and corporate finance group. He has been CEO of a number of companies, including an authorized bank.
