鈥淎CS offers more career assistance services than any other scientific association, and now we are adding more opportunities for job seekers and employers worldwide to connect,鈥 ACS Executive Director & CEO Madeleine Jacobs said. 鈥淣o matter where a person may be, or when they have time in their very busy schedules, they can participate in interviews, webinars, live chats, and gather information about employers and job candidates through the ACS Virtual Career Fair.鈥

These features include an exposition hall with booths for recruiters and companies looking for job candidates and a lounge where chemical scientists, employers and others can network and chat informally. ACS career consultants also will be available in the virtual lounge at selected times to answer questions and to offer career assistance.
In the virtual auditorium, career fair attendees can participate in a series of interactive workshops and Webinars focusing on employment trends and career development. Scheduled speakers include:
- Rudy Baum, Editor-in-Chief, Chemical & Engineering News
- Richard N. Bolles, author of 鈥淲hat Color is Your Parachute?: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers鈥 and 鈥淭he Job Hunter鈥檚 Survival Guide鈥
