This year鈥檚 conference, an official International Year of Chemistry (IYC) 2011 event, will be held in partnership with the 5th International Conference on Green and Sustainable Chemistry. Last year鈥檚 conference attracted nearly 500 attendees from 17 countries around the globe.
On Monday evening, June 20, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will announce the winners of the 2011 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Awards. This award was established to recognize and promote innovative chemical technologies that prevent pollution and have broad applicability in industry.
Other conference highlights will include:
