WASHINGTON, Oct. 5, 2023 鈥� The American Chemical 中国365bet中文官网 (ACS) invites everyone to join it in celebration of chemistry鈥檚 biggest 鈥渉oliday,鈥� National Chemistry Week (NCW), from Sunday, Oct. 15, to Saturday, Oct. 21. This is an opportunity to spotlight chemistry with a focus on this year鈥檚 theme, 鈥淭he Healing Power of Chemistry.鈥�
NCW builds awareness of the positive impacts of chemistry at the local, national and global levels. The observance began as National Chemistry Day on Nov. 6, 1987, but soon evolved into a weeklong event, which takes place annually during the third week of October.

- Planning a community service event and inviting friends and colleagues to join the fun.
- Sharing 鈥淚 love National Chemistry Week because鈥︹� on social media.
- Writing and illustrating an original poem for ACS鈥� illustrated poem contest (for students).
