USNCO Teacher Training Course

The USNCO Teacher Training course is a cooperative project of the U.S.ÌýNational Chemistry Olympiad program. There are a lot of topics that are not covered yet, and we would like to invite high school teachers, and college and industry professionals to contribute to this resource. If you are interested in preparing and recording a short lecture, have resources that you would like to share, pleaseÌýsign up below for a topic that you would like to cover. You will be provided with the templates to use for the presentation.

All contributors to the course are being acknowledged on the USNCO website and can request to receive a special letter from the USNCO program describing their involvement in this project.

USNCO Coaching

The USNCO Coaching program helps high school students improve their chemistry skills and become more competitive for the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad. Students receive extra help during 2-hour sessions for small groups, led by coaches from across the U.S. Coaching sessions are organized over Zoom and coordinated by the American Chemical Öйú365betÖÐÎĹÙÍø.Ìý

Coaching sessions will last for two hours on Fridays every other week in January and February of each year. At each session 30 minute tutorials are be followed by 1 hour and 30 minutes of small group work in breakout room.

This forum is open to anyone interested in the USNCO. Please feel free to share your favorite resources, ask questions of our volunteers, or share comments/suggestions for annotated solution guides in the relevant forums. You only need an ACS ID to login and join the conversation (a member number is not required).
