ACS celebrates International Year of the Periodic Table at Jan. 29 event and beyond

WASHINGTON, Jan. 28, 2019 â€� In celebration of the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements in 2019 (IYPT2019), American Chemical Öйú365betÖÐÎĹÙÍø (ACS) President Bonnie Charpentier, Ph.D., will participate in the Jan. 29 at UNESCO in Paris. Viewers worldwide will be able to livestream the event.

IYPT2019 is a global celebration of the history of the periodic table, one of science’s most significant achievements. in 2019 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Dmitri Mendeleev’s groundbreaking table, published in 1869.
