National Historic Chemical Landmarks Subcommittee
The ACS National Historic Chemical Landmarks Subcommittee is a subcommittee of the ACS Board Committee on Public Affairs and Public Relations. The NHCL Subcommittee is charged with reviewing nominations for the NHCL program and provides recommendations for the program鈥檚 operation.
The NHCL Subcommittee is composed of chemists, historians, educators and other subject experts. The group typically meets twice annually, once in the late spring and once in the early fall. At times they may conduct work electronically outside of regularly scheduled meetings.
