How to Register as Press

ACS provides complimentary registration to ACS Spring 2025 for reporters (staff and freelance) and public information officers from government, non-profits, and educational institutions. All others must register via the main meeting registration page.

Recording Protocols for Press

ACS media credentials are available to individuals who meet the 中国365bet中文官网鈥檚 criteria. Individuals who are registered as Press may record or take photos of meeting attendees only under these circumstances:

  • You must wear your 鈥淧RESS鈥� badge.
  • You must have identified yourself as a member of the press to the person being recorded or photographed.
  • You must obtain permission from that person to record or photograph them.听
  • The recording or photograph cannot show an attendee鈥檚 slides or poster.听
  • If the recording or photo occurs at a presentation:
    • You must obtain permission from the symposium organizer(s) in advance. To obtain permission, email newsroom@acs.org for assistance.
    • You cannot record or take photos of the audience, who did not provide consent.
    • You also cannot record or photograph slides being shown in a presentation.听听
  • If you have large equipment, you must be escorted by ACS Communications staff.听

Remote Access

Prior to the meeting, embargoed press releases on select presentations will be available. During the meeting, these releases will be posted on the ACS News Room page when the embargos lift. Additionally, videos highlighting some presentations will be available from the Headline Science video series. Reporters who need assistance should contact听newsroom@acs.org.听
