Circular Water Economy8:00 AM 鈥 12:00 PM ET The circular water economy paradigm improves the energy efficiency of the entire water cycle, relieves the supply chain shortage of critical materials, and enables cost-effective fit-for-purpose water reuses. This one-day symposium features invited speakers and panelists who are leading researchers and practitioners along multiple dimensions of a circular water economy including the development of novel听selection and detection strategies of contaminants, the recovery of useful resources in wastewater such as critical minerals, nutrients, organics, and freshwater, and the removal of key contaminants such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and microplastics. This symposium aims to identify potential challenges and opportunities to further advance research within this field. |
Rock Stars Regenerative Engineering8:00 AM 鈥 12:00 PM ET The annual Rock Stars of Regenerative Engineering Symposium brings together world-renowned engineers, scientists, and industry leaders to discuss the convergence of advanced materials sciences, stem cell science, physics, developmental biology, and clinical translation to regenerate complex tissues and organ systems. |
